GUITAR
From beginner to more advanced players. Covering everything from techniques, specific styles/genres, scales & chords, tone, acoustic and electric instruments, pedals and sonics, building pedal boards or simply learning how to play specific songs.
WESTERN MUSIC THEORY
Either starting from scratch or building on previous knowledge. We can cover everything from the basics up to, and including, degree entry level.
Whether you just want to know the principles of western music theory or more advanced concepts.
Topics include:
Note pitch & length; intervals; scales; harmony; keys & time signatures. Other topics include chart writing, technical language and applying to songwriting or performance.
COMPOSITION
Starting with the basic principles of building a song from scratch to lyric and top line writing. We can cover song arrangement and pre-production ideas. We can look at ideas to inspire and build confidence. Composition for specific media as well as chart writing to help other musicians.
MENTORING
Looking at everything from revenue flow in the music industry, booking gigs/tours, performance skills, confidence building, copyright, tour management and self promotion.
